The School’s Arts and Craft Club have been busy creating and selling bead hearts, this term. They were inspired to start the project when they heard about Tunstead people raising money for a defibrillator unit to be located in the phone box outside their school.
The children created the hearts using beads. Some of the hearts the children made were bought and sold to friends and family. The remainder went on sale at the Tunstead Christmas Craft Fair on Sunday. They were available on Kristy Lee’s Sweetie stall.
A total of £27.50 was raised by the sale of the children’s work, which will go directly to the Tunstead Village Defibrillator Fund.
Many thanks go to the children of Tunstead Primary School, and everyone in the Arts and Craft Club who helped.
