The Tunstead Village Hall and Recreation Ground is a registered charity (#297565). The object of the charity shall be the provision and maintenance of a village hall and a recreation ground for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Tunstead.

The Trustees meet on the second Tuesday of the month in the portacabin on the recreation ground in Market Street. The meetings start at 7:30pm, and usual last a couple of hours.
Once a year, there is the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the charity. This is usually the April date. There are five elected trustees. Trustees are elected annually, and may be re-elected. There are however, an additional two representative members; one from the parish council, and one from the parochial church council. This gives 7 persons on the management committee. The chairman is selected at the first meeting after the AGM.
The public are very welcome to attend any of the meetings.
