• Have you heard, there’s pony rides

    At Tunstead Village fête on Sunday 11th June, there will be pony rides.

    Shetland Ponies will be coming to the Tunstead Village Fête so the younger and smaller members of our community can get a taste of what its like to ride.

    We will also have a static display of tractors and World War II vehicles. There will also be a fire engine from the local fire station on display, if they are not out on a “shout”. Come and talk with these heroes and find our what it takes to be a fire-fighter.

    The fun dog show is a must. It starts at 1:15pm in the display ring. There are 12 classes and your dog can be entered in as many classes for which they qualify; at £1 per animal per class. For more details take a look here –>

    • There will be plants for sale.
    • Face-painting for the youngsters.
    • A coconut shy.
    • Bric-a-brac stall.
    • Panning for Gold.
    • Raffle.
    • Tea, cakes and strawberries.
    • Stalls of crafts and produce.
    • and more! (I am running out of space for this article).

    These are just some of the fun things there is in store at the fête. It opens at 11:00am and goes on until 3:00pm. So come along, I know you will have a great time.
