    Wroxham Road closure starts 8pm Friday!

    One of the most disruptive closures during construction of Norwich NDR begins at 8pm on Friday (6th) when the A1151 Wroxham Road closes to all traffic – including cyclists and pedestrians – for a full nine days. Work will be going on day and night to cut a wide trench through Wroxham Road to install a deep drainage culvert. The road will reopen no later than 6am on Monday 16th.

  • emergency road closure in Sloley

    Norfolk County Council have issued a temporary road closure notice, with restricted traffic access to Mill Lane, Sloley due to repair of a burst water main. The details are below:

    In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to burst water main the use by vehicles of the U19163 Mill Lane from a point 70metres west of U19164 Shop Lane to a point 160metres west of U19164 Shop Lane in the PARISH OF TUNSTEAD will be temporarily prohibited from 27 February 2017 to 3 March 2017 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 5 days within the period.  If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.”

    Alternative route is via:  Mill Lane, High Street, Anchor Street, Mill Road, Mill Lane (TUNSTEAD/SLOLEY).
