Tunstead Primary School continues to thrive and now provides schooling for around 114 pupils.
The school stands in an convenient location close to the the centre of the village on Market Street and has extensive grounds including a fabulous garden where fruit and vegetables are grown for sale to parents, a pond, woodland area, a play area and sports field where the school football team play their matches.
Children are taught in four mixed-age classes by experienced and dedicated staff. Their last Oftsed inspection was very positive and praised the school for the care, guidance and support it provides to the pupils.
The school plays an important part in supporting the community, providing facilities for local events and meetings. The Friends of Tunstead School continue to do a lot of work in support of activities and hold very successful Summer Fairs.
