Village Hall and Recreation Ground

Tunstead Village Hall & Recreation Ground Committee

Tunstead’s original Village Hall was demolished in 1971, and since then residents have used a Portakabin® for club meetings and activities. A new project has been set up, and we are currently considering the plans to develop the recreation ground and village hall over a number of phases. The first phase is the building of a hall to replace the Portakabin® we use as a village hall.

The Committee’s aim is to promote the provision and maintenance of a Village Hall and the Recreation Ground for the use of the inhabitants of Tunstead and Sco-Ruston.

You can check out details of upcoming events under What’s On.

The location of the village hall can be found here.

Reports of the AGMs of the Village Hall and Recreation Ground Committee, held at the Village Portakabin® are available below.

The 2020 AGM will be on 8th April.

The Village Hall & Recreation Ground Committee A.G.M. meeting is held in April, and attracts support from a small but dedicated section of the community who were interested in the Committee’s plans.
