• Bingo! Tonight!

    It could be your lucky day!

    There will be Bingo! in the Tunstead Village Hall, tonight; Thursday 21st June 2018.

    Today (Thursday) at 7:30, the modular building will be resounding with the shouts of House! The fortnightly bingo session is held to raise funds for the Village Hall and Recreation Ground.

    Do come along. It would be great to see you there. I have bought a Bingo Dabber, so I am well prepared.

  • Fun Dawg Fest Update

    The Fun Dawg Fest is happening on Sunday 10th June 2018 on the Tunstead Recreation Ground, opens at 11:00am.

    Here is a list of the Fun Dog Show classes. Children’s dog show starts at 12 noon. The Adult’s dog show starts at 1pm.

    9. Best Rescue

    13. Best of the rest – any dog that hasn’t won anything yet

  • Tunstead’s Dawg Fest

    ‘Fun Dawg Fest’

    Sunday 10th June 2018 – 11am – 4pm

    Tunstead Recreation Ground, Market Street, Tunstead, NR12 8AH

    A festival of all things deliciously doggy and exquisitely animally! Including the annual dog show and new Kids & Mutts Races.  Stalls from:

    • the Little Blue Pupcakery,
    • Pawfect Hydrotherapy,
    • The Dog Groomer,
    • Emily Rose Art who can capture your furry friend on paper,
    • Norfolk Greyhound Rescue,
    • Cats Protection

    and a VERY special visit from the

    • Miniature Donkeys for Wellbeing!

    There’ll be entertainment from Broadland Ukes, food, drinks and a bouncy castle too!!

    There will be 17 fun classes for children and adults. You can enter your dog (and bitch) for as many classes for which they qualify. Entrance fee is £1 per animal per class. Rosettes will be given down to fifth place.

    The grounds open at 11:00am. It is always popular so make sure you are there in good time. Whether you are showing your dog or watching as a member of the public I am sure you will be entertained.

    The show ground closes at 4:00pm.

  • Parish Council AGM – 2018

    On the evening of Tuesday the 15th May 2018 there is the annual general meeting (AGM) of the Tunstead and Sco Ruston Parish Council. It is at this meeting that the elected and co-opted councillors will select the chairperson, and set out their roles for the coming year.

    This meeting is held in public, to enable people of the parish observe how the council operates.

    The meeting is adjourned, once started, for an half hour public forum. This adjournment is to enable the public to air their views and concerns, and to offer feedback to the council members. If you wish to participate please come along. The meeting starts at 7:30 in the mobile unit on the village recreation ground.
