Please could everyone check any ditches and drainage under their care for blockages. If anything is blocked, whether partially or fully, please get it cleared to help Tunstead avoid flooding when the next heavy downpour occurs.

A few years ago, there was flooding in Tunstead. Since then many ditches, pipes, gulleys etc have been cleared to avoid flooding occurring again. However, it’s possible that some may have become partially or totally blocked in the meantime. Let’s make sure we work together to avoid flooding from happening.
